Every third woman is subjected to domestic violence at least once. In the autumn 2018, Pia Eklund started a social media movement in Sweden, to give voice to her support group of women who have been victims of domestic violence followed by post-separation abuse. The movement quickly grew a large following.Twelve women and their friends and family share their stories of how they were ensnared, broken down and subjected to violence - physically, psychologically, sexually, and financially. How the man has continued abusing them after they have ended the relationship, often using the children as weapons.
