Halo Midge™

The Halo Midge™ is a highly effective technical trout pattern designed to imitate midge larvae and pupae in rivers, tailwaters, lakes, and ponds. Available in both Standard and Diamond Bead styles, this versatile pattern gives anglers the ability to match water depth, current speed, and trout feeding behavior.

The Standard version offers a natural presentation that excels in shallow water, slow currents, and highly selective trout situations. The Diamond Bead version features a glass diamond bead that adds subtle flash, creates a unique halo effect underwater, and helps the fly reach feeding depth more quickly without sacrificing its realistic profile.

Originally developed with technical Western tailwater fishing in mind, the Halo/Nimbus Midge™ has proven itself in a wide range of trout fisheries wherever fish are feeding on small subsurface insects.

**Fishing Tips**
Fish under an indicator, tight-line through seams and runs, or as part of a tandem nymph rig. Use the Standard version when trout are feeding selectively in shallow water and the Diamond Bead version when additional depth or attraction is needed.
