Hanna - Marine Waterproof Salinity Tester HI98319
The Hanna Marine Waterproof Salinity Tester HI98319 is a pocket sized meter, waterproof and perfect for the measurement of salinity aquariums using conductivity to determine the salinity level of your water.
Within seconds, the salinity and temperature are measured, and then using the temperature reading, automatically compensated and displayed on the easy to read LCD screen. Ensuring the proper salinity in your reef tank allows your fish and corals more time to grow instead of having to adjust to constant salinity changes.
- Waterproof and floats
- Includes 4x of the Salinity Calibration Fluid Packets.
- Automatic Calibration – A 35.00 ppt solution is used for calibration and automatically recognized when in calibration mode.
- Displays results in parts per thousand (ppt), Practical Salinity Units (PSU), or specific gravity (S.G.)
- Salinity readings are performed by an amperometric graphite probe that resists oxidation, providing better repeatability in measurements. The use of graphite also reduces the polarization effect common with testers that use two stainless steel pins.
